  • I am going… on holiday as soon as this football season finishes because it rains a lot and I just miss the sun. We haven’t booked it yet, but probably somewhere in the Mediterranean.

  • I am loving… Celebs Go Dating. It’s really cheesy, but you know those programmes where you can completely switch off? And it actually makes me really grateful that I don’t have to go through that whole dating thing any more.

  • I am reading… the Harry Potter books, just because my life is so football, football – it’s quite intense, so I do love a little bit of a switch-off and that is my switch-off. My favourite is probably The Goblet Of Fire.

  • I am watching… Doctor Foster. It’s brilliant, but she’s driving me a little bit crazy – she’s gone into a bit of a mad bunny-boiler mode, but I love it. I think Suranne Jones is such a fantastic actress.

  • I am eating… stuffed peppers at the moment. I put my own spin on it with turkey mince and different herbs and spices. I put a little bit of cheese on top, bake it in the oven. It is very nice.

  • I am wearing… knee-high boots now that it’s raining and it’s getting a bit colder. Kurt Geiger always do nice knee-highs.

  • I'm trying… to be more patient. It’s not a strong point of mine. I have to improve my patience now that I’ve got children – they test me at times, but I’m getting there. I’ve always had a drive to be the best and stay on top, but I have to be really patient with the kids because they can’t do things straight away; they’ve got to try and fail.

  • I'm excited about… having another baby on the way. December’s going to be a busy month, with a baby due and Christmas – it’s very exciting. The kids keep having a debate about whether it’ll be a boy or a girl. They’ve picked out little toys they want to give the baby and they love babies anyway, so that’s a bonus.

  • I am using… my time to focus on grassroots football, hence why I’m ambassador for the McDonald's grassroots programme. I played grassroots football throughout my teenage years and I think football is something that can bring communities together. I’m looking forward to when my kids get to five or six and I can go stand on the sides and watch them play.
