“Trump came swooping in, wearing black silk pyjamas and slippers.”
If you hadn’t had guessed, those are the words of Stormy Daniels, whose tell-all book, Full Disclosure, has been partly leaked – and let’s just say it lives up to its title. There are plenty of salacious and downright gross details of Trump’s affair with the pornography actress, including the aforementioned PJs and the fact that sex with the president was the “least impressive” sex she’d ever had.
The most distressing tidbit to emerge from the leaked parts of the book, though, is the description of Donald Trump’s genitals. “His penis is distinctive in a certain way,” writes Daniels. “He knows he has an unusual penis. It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool.” She goes on to describe that his dick looked like the “mushroom character in Mario Kart” and says he has “Yeti pubes”.
Unsurprisingly, these are the excruciating details we’ve all focused on, mostly because they seem to confirm everything we thought about Donald Trump is true. And by that I mean, he is officially The Worst. But Daniels’ book also tells a more underhand story about how Trump attempted to silence her, through threats and – his favourite weapon – money.
As well as the mushroom penis anecdotes, Daniels’ book also tells a more underhand story about how Trump attempted to silence her through threats and – his favourite weapon – money
On the day before the 2016 election, Daniels signed a hush deal in return for $130,000 paid by Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. It later transpired that Trump reimbursed Cohen for this payout. Unsurprisingly, there was an also an NDA, which Daniels claims is invalid and has since sued Trump over. And the details get murkier still – Daniels says she was once approached in a car park while she was with her daughter and told to drop the Trump affair claims. According to her testimony on 60 Minutes, the man threatened her, saying “That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mum.”
The actress also explains how – much like the rest of us – she didn’t believe Trump would actually make it into The White House, writing, “It will never happen, I would say. He doesn’t even want to be president.” If this proves to be true, this complete disregard for anything – and anyone – while in the pursuit of power speaks volumes about the male-centric, misogynistic, pussy-grabbing, NDA-signing president and those who prop him up.
As usual, The White House have been quiet on the Stormy Daniels front, except for dismissing all the claims she’s made against the president.
And sure, the more disgusting details of Daniels’ affair with Trump are sure to keep eking out, and we can’t blame anyone for focusing on the size, or shape or of Trump’s willy. It is funny. But if we forget that at the heart of this story there’s a narrative of coercion, threats and a very real attempt to silence a woman, we let Trump get away with it.
