Is daily yoga good for you?

Following a fortnight of temperance, Emma Guns' focus turns to daily yoga before bed as her fifth habit to make or break in 2018

At the beginning of 2017, Emma started thinking about doing yoga, because in her mind it spoke to the person she thought she was or, rather, wanted to be.

But why would daily yoga be of a tangible, practical use? Emma suspects that we rely too heavily on sleep to "recharge", and wonders whether short bursts of yoga can noticeably relieve tension, improve your digestion and reduce the "mind chatter".

This isn't about the complex poses you see on Instagram, but rather about taking time out of your day to focus on yourself, and monitoring the difference two weeks can make.

And remember, any child's pose is better than no child's pose.

Emma will be following practices from Yoga with Adriene
