Will daily meditation help curb my anxiety?

For the third of Emma's #26Habits she is attempting to make meditation a daily habit and reveals how she got on with drinking more water

"Even though I have never been consistent with meditation, I did feel the benefits. I felt less panicked and my brain wasn't constantly putting me in a state of fight or flight. But keeping it up was the issue. That's why this #26Habits is such an important one for me. Making this a daily practice will, I know, stop me from flowing over into high stress and extreme emotions, and hopefully keep me centred. For this challenge, I will be using the Headspace app, which I personally started using about 18 months ago when I was struggling with anxiety. It's now an app I use semi-regularly, but not as much as I should..."
