In the second episode of The Pool's In My Head podcast series, Gemma Cairney talks to Australian journalist, 27-year-old Kate Leaver about living with bipolar disorder for the last decade.

Kate tells Gemma how bipolar can be an inspiration for her work, how it is something she is neither ashamed of nor would change, and how her closest friends – or “soul buddies” as she calls them– are always there for her.
