  1. Gah! My mates will roll their eyes at this. The fact that I have an obsession with megaphones is ridiculous, as I have such a foghorn for a gob anyway! But I love a good megaphone; the symbolism of one is strong for an image – “I have a voice and I WILL use it” is what it says to me. That’s why I have a megaphone on my book cover – I wrote a book called Open: A Toolkit For How Magic And Messed Up Life Can Be, which came out earlier this year. It is part guide, part series of essays, lists and interaction; it covers topics such as body image, race, family, heartbreak, self-harm and grief and glitter! The megaphone I’m holding on the cover represents that I’m not afraid to speak out. Megaphone, £20, Sunnylife
  2. This book explores the power of change. In modern times, I feel like this insightful collection of inspiring real-life stories offers catharsis and inspiration. Metamorphosis How and Why We Change by Polly Morland, £8.99, Amazon
  3. They’re gigantically fabulous, with a little retro 70s design thrown in. I love them; they make me feel like I want to wear a white suit in the style of Bianca Jagger, or throw on a tie-dye dress that I bought from a stall on a tropical beach. Either way, these sunglasses will give the summer fabulousness needed in any situation. Sunglasses, £125, Hook LDN
  4. Myself and my new flatmate, Roxy, have been talking lots about plants and are in the process of doing up our garden. I’m going to wrap this “G” in solar-powered fairy lights, put it among the flowerbeds, then get an “R” for Roxy and do the same. Just like P Diddy would have his initials in lights while drinking fizz in his outdoor/indoor entertaining space, right? Wire letter, £10, Oliver Bonas
  5. I am delighted by wonderful flowers and sunflowers are my favourite of all. It is undeniable to anyone that they burst with boldness and sunshine-y joy. For a bunch of flowers to radiate happiness is powerful and I love to have them in my house when in season. Sunflowers, your local florist
